Saturday and Sunday the fourth round of the Tricolour AX

The Italian Land Speed Championship returns to the Maggiora Offroad Arena, with no less than 88 pre-registered drivers - a record, and entries are open until tomorrow Tuesday 18 May - and a starting list of the highest level.

Particularly noteworthy is the presence of many drivers from beyond the Alps, one for all the legend of European autocross Bernd Stubbe, who always willingly return to compete and test their cars on the circuit that on 25/26 September will host the only Italian leg of the FIA European Championship.

8 nations represented

Eight nations will be represented: in addition to our own drivers, of course, there will also be drivers from Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and France.

At the moment, 3 cars are entered in Group 0 (Junior Buggy), 4 cars in Group 1 (Turismo 2000), 11 cars in Group 2 (TAX), no less than 40 karts in Group 3 (Kart Cross), 17 cars in Group 4 (Buggy 1600) and 13 cars in Group 5 (Super Buggy).

The Programme

Given the number of pre-registrations, the programme will be decidedly intense.

On Saturday 22 May at 1.30 p.m. there will be free practice, while from 2.30 p.m. the Chronometric Practice will start, with two sessions of four laps each.

OnSunday 23 May, the start of the first of the three scheduled Heats will be at 8.30 am. Each Heat will be contested over five laps.

At 2.30pm the Semifinals, over 6 laps, will begin, followed by the Finals, over a distance of 7 laps.
