Around 250 participants at the first off-road rally in Maggiora Offroad Arena in 2021
The Maggiora 4×4 Experience Summer Edition, the rally dedicated to all off-road vehicles, which took place in the Maggiora Offroad Arena on 25/26/27 June, closed on a very positive note: around 250 participants from all over Italy (and beyond) enjoyed themselves on the three tracks set up by Sport Club Maggiora.
Blue, red and black
The Maggiora 4×4 Experience Summer Edition, which took place under the aegis of the Federazione Italiana Fuoristrada (FIF), included a route, approximately 5 kilometres long, comprising itineraries of three levels marked by different colours, according to the best-known classification of ski slopes, thus distinguishing their increasing level of difficulty.
The track indicated in BLUE is suitable for 4×4 cars in typical road-going trim; to enjoy the RED track some preparation elements (such as roll-bar, seat and racing belts) are required; the most difficult track, the BLACK, is intended exclusively for highly tuned prototypes.
The course was completely natural, with fun bumps and some fords in the Sizzone stream, surrounded by greenery, on roads that are normally closed to vehicular traffic and climb the slopes of the hills around the Maggiora Offroad Arena. Thetwist area, with potholes and elements of difficulty artificially created for the event, also entertained the drivers, putting the cars to the test!
See you in September!
The success of the event was such that there have already been many requests for a new date: Sport Club Maggiora is working on a new rally, most likely still multi-brand, to be held on 11/12 September.
