At the end of last season, Sport Club Maggiora achieved an important result that highlights its organizational skills: as it does every year, the FIA (International Automobile Federation) drew up a sort of ranking to assess the quality of the various stages of the European Autocross Championship. All aspects of the race are taken into consideration, from the participants to safety, logistics, services for drivers and the public, and communication.
Well, after coming third in 2024, the Maggiora event achieved an excellent second place, behind only the French race in Saint Igny de Vers!
"We are very pleased with this result," says Riccardo Fasola, president of Sport Club Maggiora. " Every year we try to raise the bar, and seeing that we are getting closer and closer to the top of this particular ranking fills us with pride but also motivates us to make one last effort to try to reach it. I would also like to thank all our staff: our volunteers bring enthusiasm, passion, and great professionalism!"
