The second edition of the Maggiora Agri Festival—an event organized by Sport Club Maggiora in collaboration with the Piedmont Region, the Province of Novara, the Municipality of Maggiora, Coldiretti Novara and VCO, Campagna Amica, and Maggiora’s local farms—concluded with great success after bringing the Maggiora Offroad Arena to life from July 10 to 12.
Over the three days of the event, attendance totaled approximately 8,000, confirming the growth of an event that, already in its second year, is establishing itself as one of the leading events dedicated to promoting the agricultural sector and the region’s finest products.
There was a large turnout for all the scheduled events: from the agricultural machinery exhibition to the gatherings of vintage and modern tractors—complete with a parade through the streets of Maggiora on Sunday morning—and from the spectacular lumberjack competition, one of the most popular events, to the Educational Farm and Maggiora Agrifarm, one of the main new features of the 2026 edition, which attracted countless families and children. Also very popular were the Campagna Amica Market, the job fair dedicated to matching agricultural job seekers with employers, and the information booths run by industry organizations and associations.
The Food Area was also a huge success, showcasing local products: on Saturday evening, the 1,100-seat tent was completely sold out in every seating section, and on the other evenings as well, it came very close to being sold out. Also worth noting was the speed and efficiency of the service, with maximum wait times for orders of no more than 15 minutes!
One of MAF's highlights is undoubtedly its music nights, and 2026 was certainly no exception, with performances by Fargetta, Love Generation 90, and Marianna Lanteri, which drew thousands of people over the course of the three nights.
““We are extremely pleased with the results we’ve achieved,” — said Riccardo Fasola, president of Sport Club Maggiora — Seeing about 8,000 people enthusiastically participate in the event confirms that the work we’ve done over the past few months has paid off. The Maggiora Agri Festival has grown even further, successfully promoting the agricultural world by involving families, enthusiasts, and many young people. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our sponsors, the local institutions, and the farmers of Maggiora and the surrounding area who believed in and supported this project, as well as to all the partners who collaborated on its realization. A special mention goes to our irreplaceable partner, Coldiretti, with whom our partnership has grown even stronger. Finally, a very special thank you goes to the many volunteers: they are the beating heart of this event. They worked with passion, expertise, and great team spirit in the months leading up to the event and, above all, during the three days of the festival, ensuring that everything ran flawlessly. Without their dedication, a result of this caliber would not have been possible.”
The excellent response from the public and the enthusiasm generated over the weekend serve as a starting point for looking ahead to the next edition, with the goal of continuing to grow an event that promotes agriculture, the local area, and its finest products, while engaging an ever-larger audience.
See you in 2027!
